Following the birth of my second child, I found myself struggling to cope with a difficult period of transition. At a loss for how to heal, I turned to my garden and artistic pursuits. I found comfort in tending to my flowers and turning them into works of art using water, paints, and various plant materials.

Through my lens, I captured the delicate beauty of these creations, which became symbolic of the importance of finding brightness and calm in the midst of chaos. Rather than trying to make sense of the parts of me that felt broken, I learned to embrace them and find new ways of relating to them without self-judgment.
